OWC has been carefully developing a small collection of watches, that either have been inspired by past classics (ISO – In the Spirit Of) or as original designs. We do note that in the world of Watch Design, it is difficult to determine what is unique and what is a variation. We are trying to make the detail count.
OWC – Movement Ring: We were not happy with the current design of movement rings. While not a very obvious, glamourous, or visual part of a watch, the movement ring is vital to the proper functioning of the watch as a unit.
The OWC MR has been completely designed by our team and has been executed in engineering grade metal by CNC machinery, to provide the best fit for our movements within our cases.
OWC – Case Clamps: We threw away all the case clamps supplied and ordered extra long clamps. The extra 0.15mm we thought was worth it so the movement was completely secure in the case. Most manufacturers would make do, we do not.
OWC – Evolution: If we see something that can be done better, we will try to make it better. If we cannot we do change for its own sake. Our products evolve, so we make no apologies for future examples of the same model to be different.
